Iron Oxide Red 110 For Paint and Coating

Iron oxide pigments are pigments processed from natural and artificial inorganic iron systems. There are three main types: ① Fe203·H20 or Fe203·nH20 is yellow, and is the main component of iron oxide yellow, usually a monohydrate. The degree of hydration varies with different production methods, and its crystal structure and physical state are different, from lemon yellow to orange yellow. Dehydration changes color when heated and gradually turns into iron oxide red. ②Fe304 or FeOFe2O3 is black and is the main component of iron oxide black. Generally, the content of ferrous oxide is 18% to 26%, and the content of iron trioxide is 72% to 74%, which has a saturated blue light black. ③Fe203 is red in color and is the main component of iron oxide red. There are two types: natural and man-made. Natural (western red) is basically pure iron oxide. The latter is obtained by high-temperature calcination of ferrous sulfate, yellow iron oxide or iron mud. The effective content of the three pigments is more than 90%, and the highest can reach more than 95%. The 320-mesh sieve residue is less than 0.5%. The average particle size is 1~2μm. The common feature is that the coloring power, hiding power and light resistance are all very good. Good, heat-resistant, alkali-resistant, but not ACID-resistant, and the color is not clear enough. Used in coatings, inks, plastics and other industries.
