Polyvinyl alcohol 0588 flakes are made of advanced technology and process, using vinyl acetate produced by petroleum production method as raw material, methanol as solvent, azobisisobutyronitrile as initiator, through polymerization, alcoholysis and other processes. It is a water-soluble environment-friendly high molecular polymer, non-toxic and non-polluting, with good film-forming properties, emulsifying properties, bonding properties and spinning properties. It forms films with excellent adhesion, solvent resistance, abrasion resistance, tensile strength and oxygen barrier properties. Because polyvinyl alcohol has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic functional groups, it has interface activity, so polyvinyl alcohol can be used as a protective colloid for polymer emulsification and suspension polymerization.
Usage:

PVA can also be used as a fabric finishing agent, often mixed with urea and formaldehyde. When the fabric is baked and melted at high temperature, a chemical reaction occurs between the two, making the Resin more flexible, thereby improving the stiffness and elasticity of the processed fabric. The stiffness of the fabric can be adjusted by the amount of PVA.
2. PVA has strong adhesion in papermaking and strong film formation. It can be used instead of starch and casein or used in combination with them. It can be used as a coating paper vehicle, or as a glue for coated paper, wear-resistant paper, base paper, kraft paper. Surface sizing can improve the wear resistance, folding resistance and tear resistance of the paper, and improve the gloss, smoothness and printing adaptability. PVA water solution can be used to replace water glass, starch or used in combination for printing and binding, carton, cardboard, paper tube, etc.
3. The adhesive is a series of adhesives made of PVA as the main raw material. It has good adhesion to paper, cloth and wood. It has a wide range of uses. Materials Bonded board, leather, decoration and other industries have a large market, and some inorganic substances can be added, such as: clay, bentonite, alumina, titanium oxide, etc. to increase the bonding strength. Formaldehyde-free, water-resistant isocyanate-based adhesives can also be developed.
4. Film The film made of PVA has good transparency, high tensile and crack resistance, good moisture permeability, good heat insulation, oil resistance, organic drug resistance, and no static electricity, so it is suitable for textile packaging. It can also be used as food packaging, non-toxic, odorless, non-polluting, degradable, and can be compounded with polyethylene, Polypropylene, etc., used as instrument packaging, and can also be used for printing and plate making.
5. Acetalized derivatives PVA and formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, butyraldehyde or other aldehydes or ACID catalysts are present to generate acetalized PVA derivatives, which further improves the water resistance and adhesion of polyvinyl alcohol. Formal compounds are widely used in interior wall coatings, construction adhesives (such as 107 glue) sponges, etc. Butyral compounds have good adhesion to glass, etc., and can be used in coatings, leather, porcelain paper, aluminum foil, copper-clad plates, safety glass, etc.
6. The fiber raw material PVA is the vinylon fiber obtained by washing, dissolving, spinning, and formal treatment. It can be blended with wool, cotton, viscose and other fibers to make vinylon products, non-woven fabrics, and geotextiles. It is widely used in clothing and industrial applications. Cord, fishing net rope, tarpaulin, agricultural, sanitary materials, etc. PVA can also be used to develop and manufacture high-strength and high-modulus PVA fibers to replace asbestos and to be used as reinforcing materials for cement products, and has a very broad prospect.
