Description of Boiled Tung Oil:

There are two types of ripe tung oil: one is ripe Pure Tung Oil, and the other is mixed ripe tung oil. The extraction method of pure and ripe tung oil is to stir fry the tung seeds and extract the oil, without artificially adding any chemical components. It is suitable for environmentally friendly and pollution-free decoration, especially indoors. Mixed and cooked tung oil belongs to a type of paint, which is blended in a 2:2:6 ratio. 20% varnish, 20% rosin, and 60% tung oil are heated and boiled to a temperature of 260 degrees Celsius. After this method of cooking, tung oil needs to be filtered before it can be used with wooden utensils. The mixed ripe tung oil has a strong taste and a strong smell of paint. The pressing method of this tung oil is a traditional and ancient method. This method is gradually being phased out.

Application:

It is the main raw material for manufacturing paint and ink, and is widely used as a waterproof, anti-corrosion, and rust resistant coating for buildings, machinery, weapons, vehicles, fishing gear, and electrical appliances. It can also be used to make oilcloth, oilpaper, soap, etc.
